- Vimta R&D is partnered with Deakin University, Australia to offer an Industrial PhD programme to talented Indian students. The four students inducted into the programme in 2009 will be employing a systems biology approach to research biomarkers in cancer and investigating applications of nano-technology in drugs and diagnostics.
- Venture with Columbia University to develop MassTag PCR panels for detection of infectious diseases.
