All types of fragment analysis studies are undertaken
– STR, VNTR, AFLP, SNP etc.,
Five fluorescent dyes can be analysed in each sample: 6-FAM, VIC, NED, PET, and LIZ (standard). Accuracy of less than one base difference is seen between sample replicates. High throughput can be achieved by multiplexing different dyes and fragment sizes together for these various types of applications:

Micro-satellite Analysis |
| |
AFLP Analysis (amplified fragment length polymorphisms) |
| |
RFLP Analysis (restriction fragment length polymorphisms) |
| |
SNP Analysis (single nucleotide polymorphisms) |
| |
Mutation Detection |
Sample submission guidelines:
| |
Please indicate the range of fragments. |
| |
Label the primers in such a way that fragments with same size should not overlap with the same dye colour. |
| |
Send at least 10µl of reaction mix. |
| |
Wrap the sample tubes with foil to protect the fluorescent dye. |
